About Harwich Port, MA
Harwich Port is a village in the town of Harwich, on the shore of Nantucket Sound. About 1,900 people lived here at the 2020 census.
Its harbors are what define it. Saquatucket Harbor and Wychmere Harbor sit within the village, and nearby Allen Harbor shares its mailing address, hence the motto “Three Harbors, One Port.” The village belongs to a town with deep roots, settled in 1670, incorporated in 1694 and known as the birthplace of the cranberry industry.
