Making a compact yard look its best
Not every property near the Sound comes with a sprawling lawn, and that's no drawback. A small yard kept sharp often looks better than a big one that's a little neglected, and it takes less work to get there:
- 1
Clean lines between lawn, beds and walkways make even a tiny yard look designed.
- 2
One well-kept bed or a pair of shrubs by the door draws the eye better than lots of scattered plantings.
- 3
The same mulch in every bed ties a small property together and makes it look planned.
- 4
On a small lawn, a missed mowing shows right away. Regular cuts keep it looking even.
